Animas Museum

The Animas Museum is a local history museum located in the 1904 Animas City School building, operated by the La Plata County Historical Society. The museum offers a variety of exhibits and programs, both in-person and online, and provides assistance with research questions and photograph inquiries. It also holds facade easements and engages in preservation efforts to protect local historical sites and stories.
