Ann Korologos Gallery

Founded in 1993 as The Basalt Gallery by Jody Ensign and Susan Manchee, this historic downtown Basalt institution evolved into the Ann Korologos Gallery after renowned collector Ann Korologos purchased the space in 2006. Now led by co-owners Sue Edmonds and Claire de L’Arbre, the gallery occupies a light-filled, spacious venue on Midland Avenue dedicated to contemporary art of the modern west. The collection features painters, sculptors, printmakers, and mixed-media artists whose works explore the region's depth, beauty, and evolving identity. Visitors encounter bold expressionist compositions that reimagine nature through vivid color and texture, alongside regional landscapes rendered in finely detailed oils.
