Five historic cabins built for quarry workers over a century ago sit just beyond the last stop sign in Marble, Colorado, marking the edge of the wilderness. The main lodge, originally East Marble’s schoolhouse from the late 1800s, now offers freshly renovated rooms in a modern farmhouse style with kitchenettes and private outdoor access. These cabins feature hardwood floors, log beds, kitchens, and porches with mountain views, while the lodge rooms provide clean, updated amenities including a 3/4 bath and TV. Rates for the cabins range from $200 to $250 per night, and lodge rooms run between $175 and $200. We host retreats, workshops, reunions, and group events year-round, providing a base for exploring the White River National Forest and Raggeds Wilderness. Marble is famous for its pure white Yule Marble, the state rock found only here, which forms the town’s steps and benches. Guests can walk across Carbonate Creek to local spots like The HUB coffee shop or Raspberry Ridge Café, or head down a wooded lane to Beaver Lake for fishing and canoeing. The area offers access to activities ranging from summer hiking and fishing to winter nordic skiing and ice climbing.
