Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness (Colorado)

The Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness is a 75,439-acre area managed by the Bureau of Land Management, featuring red rock canyons, spires, and unique geological formations. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, mountain lion, and desert bighorn sheep, and offers opportunities for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Visitors can access the wilderness through several trailheads, including those for Devils Canyon, Pollock Bench, and Rattlesnake Arches, with some roads open to motorized travel on a seasonal basis.
