Box Cañon Falls Park

Box Cañon Falls is a geological formation featuring a 285-foot waterfall that plunges into a narrow quartzite canyon. The park is also a habitat for the Black Swift, a rare and elusive North American bird species. Visitors to the area can also explore the region's rich mining history, with nearby ghost towns, old mining buildings, and the Ouray County Historical Museum showcasing the area's past.
