Chaffee County Fairgrounds & Events Center

The Chaffee County Fairgrounds & Events Center in Salida serves as a multifaceted hub for large-scale gatherings, featuring a 10,000-square-foot Event Center and a 6,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall. The complex includes a Meeting Room with a demonstration kitchen, a full Commercial Kitchen, and an open-air livestock pavilion equipped with horse stalls. Outdoor amenities consist of two arenas, paved and unpaved parking areas, and a Grand Stand offering 1,975 seats overlooking the main arena. An RV park with electricity is available for events, alongside dedicated livestock and horse stalls. Past events hosted at the facility range from motorcycle rallies and 4x4 rallies to state horse shows, rodeos, music concerts, and military training sessions. Booking requires a completed Facility License Agreement, a deposit, and a certificate of insurance naming Chaffee County as an additional insured. Miki Hodge manages scheduling and facility use.
