Delta County Combined Court

The Delta County Combined Court serves as the judicial hub for the Seventh Judicial District within the Colorado State Judicial Branch, handling both district and county court matters from its home in Delta. The facility occupies a shared building complex that also houses the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk and Recorder, Treasurer and Assessor, the Sheriff's Administration Building, the Jail and Work Release Center, the Department of Social Services, and the Delta Library. Staffed by employees funded by the state, the court employs a District Judge, County Judge, Magistrate, Clerk of Court, six Court Judicial Assistants, a Collections Investigator, and a Court Reporter, with an Interpreter visiting regularly. The Office of the 7th Judicial District Probation Department operates just west of the main courthouse. Visitors can purchase legal forms from the Clerk's Office, where some are available free online, alongside informative brochures detailing court functions. An online docket search feature allows the public to track court cases efficiently.
