Garfield County Fairgrounds & Events Center

Built in 1938, the historic Garfield County Fairgrounds & Events Center anchors Rifle’s cultural and agricultural calendar with its distinctive grandstands. This sprawling complex operates seven days a week, offering 24/7 access to its core assets: a 225 by 140-foot indoor arena, a larger 250 by 150-foot outdoor arena, and 140 stalls for horse, dog, or livestock. Three meeting rooms and banquet halls provide flexible space for banquets, conferences, private parties, and dances, while commercial kitchen rentals support large-scale catering needs. The grounds host a diverse array of events year-round, including rodeos, bull riding competitions, concerts, trade shows, swap meets, motor sports events, and carnivals. As a cornerstone of local heritage, the fairgrounds supports learning, equestrian activities, and community gatherings, serving as a versatile venue for both public festivals and private celebrations.
