John Denver Sanctuary

This public park is a memorial to legendary singer John Denver, featuring lush wetlands and scenic beauty along the river behind Rio Grande Field. The sanctuary offers a peaceful escape with engraved landscape stones sharing its story, and is suitable for activities such as family picnics or quiet meditation. It is managed by Aspen Parks & Recreation and is open to the public from dawn to dusk.
