Middle Colorado Watershed Council

The Middle Colorado Watershed Council works to evaluate, protect, and enhance the health of the middle Colorado River watershed through cooperative efforts with various stakeholders. The organization addresses water-related issues and seeks to balance human needs with ecosystem needs in the watershed, which spans from Glenwood Canyon to De Beque. It also hosts events, such as the Fire & Water Speaker Series, and participates in initiatives like water quality monitoring and the implementation of a Next Generation Water Observing System.
