San Juan County Treasurer

The San Juan County Treasurer's office is responsible for collecting, maintaining, and distributing county funds, including property taxes. The office also handles tax lien sales, delinquent property tax notices, and disburses monies to taxing entities. Additionally, the Public Trustee division manages foreclosures of deeds of trust, releases of deeds of trust, and tax escrow accounts for land purchase contracts, serving as an intermediary between borrowers and lenders.
