At 347 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Durango, moving east at 25 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.Locations impacted include... Bayfield, Ignacio, Falfa, and Oxford.This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 89 and 110. Colorado 151 between mile markers 1 and 6. Colorado 172 between mile markers 9 and 24.
