The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning below 8000 feet for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
AFFECTED AREA
In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 203 Lower Colorado River below 8000 feet.
TIMING
For the first Red Flag Warning, until 10 PM MDT this evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Tuesday. For the third Red Flag Warning, from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday.
WINDS
Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
