WHAT

Debris from mudslide and flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

WHERE

A portion of west central Colorado, including the following county, Pitkin along Highway 133 north of Redstone.

WHEN

Until 800 PM MDT.

IMPACTS

Mudslides along Highway 133 north of Redstone is on going or expected to begin shortly. Avoid traveling and recreating through the advisory area.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- At 609 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.3 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Avalanche Creek, East Creek, West Sopris Creek, Middle Thompson Creek, North Thompson Creek, Hell Roaring Creek, Perham Creek, Braderich Creek, Bulldog Creek, Crystal River, Coal Creek and South Thompson Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
