WHAT
Rapid rise in water levels and potential flooding caused by an ice jam release along the Frying Pan River into the confluence with the Roaring Fork River. Additional ice jam releases in Snowmass Canyon is possible.
WHERE
Along the Roaring Fork from Snowmass Canyon to confluences with the Frying Pan to near Carbondale.
WHEN
Until 800 PM MST.
IMPACTS
Anglers and anyone near or in the Roaring Fork River should move away from the river and seek higher ground now. Use extreme caution and be on the lookout for ice and debris flowing in the river.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 452 PM MST, Local law enforcement reported flooding in the advisory area. Minor flooding is already occurring. - Areas along the Roaring Fork River are the most likely places to experience minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
