WHAT
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
WHERE
A portion of west central Colorado, including Grand Junction, Colorado.
WHEN
Until 530 PM MDT.
IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 332 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in Downtown Grand Junction. Between 0.4 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Downtown Grand Junction is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. This includes the following streams and drainages... Leach Creek, Colorado River, Indian Wash and Gunnison River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
