WHAT
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
WHERE
A portion of northwest Colorado, including the following counties, Garfield and Rio Blanco.
WHEN
Until 645 PM MDT.
IMPACTS
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 337 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.3 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Southwestern Rio Blanco and Western Garfield Counties on Missouri and Evacuation Creeks. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
