At 405 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Rangely, or 46 miles southeast of Vernal, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Rangely.

This includes the following highways... Colorado 64 between mile markers 16 and 34. Colorado 139 between mile markers 61 and 72.
