The Colorado Plateau Chamber Music Society presents a concert of favorites for strings and piano. Featuring Delaney Meyers, violin, Charles Hebenstreit, viola, Sarah Graf, cello, and Tamara Goldstein, piano. The first half is a salon style program of duos featuring Saint-Saëns’ The Swan, the first movement of Beethoven’s Spring Sonata, Mendelssohn’s Song Without Words, Prokofiev’s “The Young Juliet” and more. The full ensemble then will come together to play the Schumann Piano Quartet in E-flat major, a romantic favorite perfect for Mother’s Day afternoon in the beautiful Our Lady of Perpetual Motion venue in Fruita.
Free, no tickets required, $25 suggested donation at the door. The CPCMS is a new organization bringing chamber music performances to rural western Colorado, played by the world class musicians who make our region their home. The concert will last just over an hour with no intermission.
