About this event
Alicia Kiah is a classically trained violinist, producer, and visual artist redefining the space between orchestral beauty and electronic innovation. With over 30 years of experience on the violin, Alicia began her journey at age 4, later training at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory of Music. Her work blends expressive string arrangements with avant-garde sound design, forging an unmistakable signature that is both soulful and cinematic.
Since 2011, Alicia has built a vibrant career at the intersection of classical performance and underground electronic music. Her collaborations span artists like Geode, Kursa, Sorrow, Truth, and KOAN Sound, with contributions found across a vast catalog of records, digital releases, and sync projects—including recordings for Oculus and the animated series Soda Island.
Alicia’s live sets are a mesmerizing synthesis of analog and digital, bridging centuries of tradition with futuristic production. She regularly performs in hybrid formats that combine live violin with electronic instrumentation—most recently through her collaborations with Kursa on immersive, improvisational hardware sets.
Deeply inspired by nature and the search for beauty in all things, Alicia’s work is rooted in emotional storytelling and personal connection. Her 2025 debut EP Stargazer marked a bold new chapter in her evolution as a solo artist—ushering in a sound that’s introspective, celestial, and unafraid to push the boundaries of genre.
As both a mentor and creator, Alicia continues to shape a new paradigm in music—one that embraces vulnerability, experimentation, and the limitless fusion of sound and spirit.
