CLASS DESCRIPTION    Explore the amazing world of animals and their habitats! Campers will create handprint jungle birds, penguin finger paintings, and nature-inspired sculptures while learning how different animals live and thrive. Through outdoor scavenger hunts and sketching adventures at the Botanic Park, students observe the natural world up close and discover how people like Jane Goodall help protect it. This week blends art, exploration, and environmental awareness in a creative, hands-on way. Pair with Radical Rhythms camp for a full day of creative fun! TEACHER    Jessie Berg CANCELLATION POLICY Before May 21st: refunds can be given for cancellations minus a non-refundable $35.00 administration fee. After May 21st: no refunds will be given for cancellations. You may transfer your young artist to another Young At Art Camp, in the same season, for no cost (unless there are additional camp fees) as long as there is space and the transfer request is made in writing 14 days prior to the start date of camp. Each camper is allowed up to 2 free transfers per summer. To submit your request in writing please email: programs@steamboatcreates.org Steamboat Creates does not allow transfers from Summer Camp to our School Day Out programming at this time. Steamboat Creates does not refund or prorate camps for limited attendance. Steamboat Creates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop for any reason, including workshops that do not meet the minimum registration requirements, or canceling a workshop due to inclement weather. If SC cancels a workshop, registrants will be given a full refund.
