Aquatic Ecology (2nd-3rd)

Calling all future ecologists! This week of camp is all about WATER. Campers will learn about ecosystems of lakes and rivers, collect water samples to test for certain properties, and learn what lives in Blue Mesa & the Gunnison River. Plus, we’ll have a field trip to Blue Mesa for water activities, fishing, and more! Is your child attending Gunnison Watershed School District Summer Experience? Or, do you only need afternoon half day care? During the weeks of GWSD Summer Experience, the JMC Experience Camp option is from 12-5:30pm Mondays-Thursday + a full day on Fridays. This option is only available for the weeks of June 8, 15, 22, July 6, 13, 20. GWSD will provide transportation from Summer Experience to JMC.
