
The 29th annual Black Canyon Quilt Show, to be held on July 10—12, 2026, at the Montrose Pavilion, 1800 Pavilion Dr., Montrose, CO, will feature 150+ quilts, assorted vendors, a boutique with handmade “quilty” items, and a raffle quilt.
Charisma Horton, a nationally known quilt artist, magazine contributor, long armer, and pattern designer, will teach her “Big Blooms” full-day workshop on Friday, July 10. On Saturday, July 11, she will teach her “Penny Notes” hand embroidery class and present an afternoon lecture and trunk show entitled “The Journey as a Designer.”
Raffle tickets for the gorgeous quilt, designed by quilt artist Edyta Sitar, made by Guild members, and quilted by Gale Smith, may be purchased online or at the show for $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. Show hours are 9—5 on Friday and Saturday; 10—3:30 on Sunday. Adult admission is $5.00, and children are free.
