Carol Patterson, PhD, will speak on "The Anthropology of Clouds in Rock Images of the Southwest." Learn how ancient people worked to bring rain to the dry southwest through rock art cloud images, rain making ceremonies and ritual races staged to excite cloud beings and bring rain. Carol earned her PhD in Queensland, Australia. She has extensive teaching and field experience. Carol if the author of numerous books and articles on myths and rock art.
