In this class, we’ll continue developing drawing skills using graphite sticks and pencils while working from increasingly complex still-life arrangements.Though intended as an intermediate class, beginners are welcome and will be guided as needed.
We’ll dive deeper into how light and shadow shape what we see—starting with simple objects and gradually introducing more intricate forms as the session progresses.Students will explore how objects interact with one another, altering the light and shadow in subtle ways and creating richer, more complex drawings.
The class consists of a series of drawing sessions that build in intensity, culminating in a longer, sustained drawing period at the end. Basic drawing materials will be available.
