Love Song
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, an all-local cast performs Love Song by John Kolvenbach.
Beane is an oddball who can’t quite figure out how to “people.” Joan laments the woeful inadequacy of the human race. Harry just wants to decode Beane and maybe make out with Joan once in a while. Meanwhile, a “terrifying” burglar wants Beane’s clothes.
Funny, fast-paced, and surprisingly touching, John Kolvenbach’s slightly warped comedy about love has been called “a rhapsody to the power of love in all its forms.”
