    About This Event

Megan Woods is from a small town in Northern Massachusetts where God planted a love for music in her at a really young age. Even though she grew up in a Christian home with great Christian parents, she didn’t have a personal relationship with God.

Throughout her childhood Megan was bullied, so she struggled with feelings of not being good enough. One day her parents found that she was googling ways to hurt herself. They quickly went to her school to pull her out and talk about it. That’s the day Megan realized that her Heavenly Father used her earthly parents to literally save her life. That was also the first time in her life that God got her attention.

But Megan surrounded herself with the wrong people. She was deeply hurting and tried to mask the pain, but it only left her depressed. Her love for music seemed to always carry her through those dark moments. Even though she didn’t know God personally at the time, her parents knew the Lord and were praying for her nonstop.

After her mom invited her, she started attending church regularly. Around the same time, a close friend had a life-threatening experience which led him to share with Megan that Jesus was real! From that moment Megan started devouring the Bible. She couldn’t get enough of Jesus. She joined the worship team, and for the first time in her life Megan used music to glorify the One who gave her life and saved her.

Shortly after, God spoke to her and revealed that music was what she was supposed to do with her life. Megan explains, “It was the most intense feeling I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t like God was poking me, he was grabbing me by the shoulders and calling me to something larger than I could even imagine. Now I want nothing more than to tell people about Jesus through my music and share the story of the work God has done in my life.”

In 2022, Megan Woods signed a record deal with Fair Trade Services (MercyMe, Phil Wickham), signed with booking agency Platform Artists (Chris Tomlin, TobyMac), and is managed by Jason Davis and his team at Noble Management (Austin French).
