Survivor Made is a deeply human documentary that offers a rare glimpse into the everyday lives of six survivors building safety and joy for themselves and their children. From growing small businesses in L.A. to organizing for change in D.C., they're doing what it takes to build a new future on their own terms and in community. Produced by an all-survivor crew, it transforms the narrative of gender-based violence from stories of pain to stories of possibility.
After the 90-minute film, join the Ouray County Support and Advocacy Project for a talkback about the film.
April 2026 is the 25th anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month nationally. With the barrage of info about the Epstein Files in the news, plus the French case of Gisele Pelicot recently, the impacts on victims/survivors have been on the minds and hearts of many. The Ouray County Support and Advocacy Project (OCSAP) opened for services in 2025 to support survivors and assist in their healing processes, while funding for sexual violence intervention and prevention programs nationally has been dwindling. A perfect storm for having a discussion about the resilience and skills of sexual and domestic violence survivors!
