Kick off Heritage Days with Colorado country artist Hugh Phillips at the Plateau Valley Rodeo. As part of the Rocky Mountain Made Tour 2026, Hugh brings his signature Colorado Country sound to a celebration rooted in tradition, community, and Western spirit.
Backed by a Nashville-based band, Hugh delivers a high-energy mix of original songs—including “Boys That’s a Cowgirl” and “Bottom of the Bottle”—along with crowd-favorite country hits perfect for a summer rodeo night.
From the arena to the dance floor, this is country music the way it’s meant to be—loud, proud, and built for a great night under the Colorado sky.
Join us for Heritage Days and a night of live music you won’t want to miss!
Colorado Country at its best! These guys are gaining a lot of traction performing fairs, festivals, and honky-tonks with a show you don’t want to miss! This 4-piece band performs their hits as well as Merle, Waylon, Hank Jr., Brothers Osbourne, Midland, Zac Brown, Dierks Bentley and a host of other greats from the 70’s all the way to the latest on Country radio. You can count on an exciting performance rocking out to country sounds with a bluegrass flair.
And the hits keep coming! Hugh signed with SSM Nashville and is well on his way to the bigtime releasing his second song ‘Bottom of the Bottle’ [SSM/SKM] to country radio in March and the video released in April this year. The combo has created buzz throughout the country music world. His first song ‘Boys That’s a Cowgirl’ [SSM] went to radio last year with huge success for a country artist new to the scene.
The Hugh Phillips Band is from Carbondale Colorado. Their first release ‘It’s Been a Long Time’ on SKM/String Kitchen Music, were nominated as the Best New Artist/Band, Best New Male Vocalist, and Best New Americana/Country Song [Hi-Ways] on the Colorado Playlist 2021 Listener Poll. With more music on the horizon as well as video and touring this is a band to watch!
