Ryan Dart - New album “If Love Don’t Break You”, coming in Spring of 2026
Farmer. Father. Musician. Painter. Ryan Dart’s music encompasses the world he lives in. He draws inspiration from love, loss, heartbreak, and hard work in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains.
Colorado-born and raised below the poverty line in western Arkansas, Dart was heavily influenced by rock and country songwriters (Dylan, Cash, Van Zandt, Waits, Petty) and old rhythm and blues artists (Fats Domino, Jimmy Reed, Bill Withers). As a grandson of the dust bowl and steward of the land, he knows you can’t sing about needing rain unless you really know what it means to need rain.
After years of traveling the world through music—managing and working on tours with acts like Rose Hill Drive, Dinosaur Jr., and Ryan Bingham—he settled down to raise his son and started Dart Farms north of Denver. Following the release of his acclaimed 2022 album “Edge of the Wild,” his marriage fell apart in 2021, pushing him deeper into the emotional landscape of his songwriting.
Through the healing and growth process that followed, Dart has emerged with a more refined craft, becoming increasingly involved in writing custom songs for film and television while continuing to tour and write. Now he returns with his most honest work yet: a powerful new collection of 14 original songs set for release in 2026. This “Divorce Album” features Texas fiddle legend Richard Bowden (Ryan Bingham, Terry Allen) alongside an all-star lineup including Nate Barnes (Rose Hill Drive, Ryan Bingham, Mary Chapin Carpenter), Daniel Sproul (Ryan Bingham, Rose Hill Drive, Hard Working Americans, Elephant Revival), and Bridget Law and Charlie Rose of Elephant Revival. While tackling heavy themes of heartbreak and loss, the album surprises with upbeat love songs, showcasing Dart’s evolution as a songwriter who isn’t afraid to dig into the full spectrum of human emotion. This album will undoubtedly be his most successful offering yet.
