As National Endowment for the Arts 2025 US Artists International Grant Recipients, Tanasi is honored to have been chosen to continue fostering cross cultural creative collaboration, celebrating music’s power to unite, transcend cultures and borders, and reveal the shared rhythms of our humanity.
Tanasi features the tight, sister-like harmonies of MerleFest-winning songwriter Anya Hinkle and Mary Lucey (Biscuit Burners, Uncle Earl),along with the inimitable dobro musings of Billy Cardine, recognized worldwide for his distinctive voice on all things slide.
