Science of Weather (2nd-3rd)

What is the weather? Can the weather be predicted? How does that happen? Campers will become meteorologists in training as they explore the science of weather. Experiment with how precipitation forms, learn about cloud formations, make tornadoes, and learn how to track the wind with a weathervane in this weatheriffic camp! Is your child attending Gunnison Watershed School District Summer Experience? Or, do you only need afternoon half day care? During the weeks of GWSD Summer Experience, the JMC Experience Camp option is from 12-5:30pm Mondays-Thursday + a full day on Fridays. This option is only available for the weeks of June 8, 15, 22, July 6, 13, 20. GWSD will provide transportation from Summer Experience to JMC. Field Trip: Ripples Wilderness Program & Sun Printing Add On Field Trip Option: Forgo the regularly scheduled field trip and join Wilderness Pursuits at Hartman Rocks for Rock Climbing
