
Summer in Durango is right around the corner — and so is the return of the Durango Blues Train. We’re thrilled to announce the artist lineup for performances on August 20-22, 2026. The Durango Blues Train rolls out aboard the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad with an incredible lineup featuring: The Boneshakers, Dick Earl’s Electric Witness, Dave Jordan & Co, Kara Grainger, Nigel Wearne, and Weary Ramblers. The event features six live blues performances on board. Each artist performs in their own vintage coach, while passengers are to free to dance their way from coach to coach and delight in a variety of musical performances. The powerful band celebrates over 30 years of no-holds-barred funk, soul, and roots music that marries the sounds and spirits of Detroit Rock City, Memphis, and Muscle Shoals. Their latest album Live To Be This dropped on Gulf Coast Records in July 2025 and debuted at #9 on Billboard Top Blues Albums, featuring special guests Bobby Rush, Charlie Musselwhite, Coco Montoya, Don Was, Jimmy Carpenter, and more. It also topped Blues radio charts in the UK, France, and Germany. The 2025 release continues the recent ride their 2022 album One Foot In the Groove started, which hit #1 on UK Blues Charts and #1 on US Soul Blues Charts and won the band two Wammie awards.
