Celebrate America's 250th with the Creede Rodeo and Trouble Bound Band
The Trouble Bound Band is made of a little alt-country, a little rock ‘n roll, a smidge of the blues, and nicely garnished with some bluegrass trimmings. The result is a delicious Colorado music fiesta.
The band name itself, "Trouble Bound," is a tongue-in-cheek mindset that comes from moments when, by circumstance or choice, someone ends up headed for trouble. Thematically, there is a reverence for the forefathers of outlaw country, romanticized in stories of the Wild West, and the songs examine the overindulgence in liquor, love, and occasional hell-raising mischief.
Our music is the soundtrack of a dusty backroad drive or scenic highway through Colorado’s majesty, mixed with the Hunter S Thompson philosophy of:
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
