DetailsHomesteaded in 1885 by the John Welsh Family, our Wolcott property sits on 1,100 acres in the valley floor of the Eagle River basin. We transformed this historic cattle and sheep operation into a versatile event venue in 1991, and the 4 Eagle Foundation has stewarded it since May 2010. The Homestead House, a renovated white farmhouse built in 1925, serves as our guest house, while the Carriage House hosts dining and dances. We also feature Nelson Cabin, a log cabin relocated from Minturn around 1890, which hosts sleigh ride dinners and private events.
Our summer schedule buzzes with family-friendly activities, including wagon ride dinners, horseback riding, zip-lining, 4x4 Jeep and ATV tours, white water rafting, and fly fishing. In winter, majestic Percheron Draft Horses pull our sleighs for traditional rides and dinners. Our Country Western Dance runs year-round, featuring a DJ or live band, food, and line dance instruction. Plan your wedding, corporate retreat, or family reunion in our various indoor and outdoor venues, covered porches, and fire pits designed for groups of all sizes. We offer free consultations to help you organize your event with purpose.
