The family-owned operation began as J&W Catering before expanding to a trailer and eventually settling into its current brick-and-mortar spot, which opened in 2022. The menu centers on meats sold by the pound, available as handhelds or served on plates with sides like beans and slaw. Customers frequently praise the moist cornbread and deep-fried specialties known as Gunni Faves. Beyond the dining room, the establishment features a sports bar serving beer and cocktails, along with a summer patio for outdoor dining. The team also handles large-scale catering for weddings and family reunions, managing everything from dietary restrictions to cleanup. Operating Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, the shop keeps the smoker running almost continuously during the warmer months.
