Ajax Adventure Camp

Thirty-two0 acres of mountainous terrain at 8,888 feet provide the backdrop for Ajax Adventure Camp’s summer programs in Aspen Snowmass. The facility operates as both a day camp and a sleepaway option, with the latter allowing up to 40 campers to build traditions on the expansive grounds. Programs are segmented by age, catering to younger children aged 5-6 through the Junior Camp and older kids aged 7 and up. The daily schedule is designed for high engagement, allowing participants to select from 15 to 20 distinct activities each day, with options offered twice daily to ensure variety. The activity roster extends beyond the standard list of biking, skateboarding, rock climbing, and river rafting to include archery, hatchet throwing, horseback riding, canoeing, BMX biking, ziplines, fishing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Arts and crafts, tie dye, and slip n’ slides provide creative outlets, while specialized tracks like Mad Scientist experiments and Messy Artists cater specifically to the younger demographic. With over 75 different activities available throughout the camp weeks, the camp emphasizes outdoor adventure and confidence-building in a safe, expert-supervised environment.
