About
Sunday mornings at 9:30 am bring a diverse congregation to the Aspen Chapel, a place of worship situated by the roundabout as you enter town. Led by Nicholas and Heather Vesey, who bring a Christian Episcopal background to their ministry, the chapel draws from all the world’s wisdom traditions to help attendees learn together and live more skillfully. Services typically last an hour and feature a blend of prayer and meditation led by Heather, followed by a talk from Nicholas on the week's specific topic. The community incorporates local musicians from the Aspen Music Festival and has recently explored themes through theatrical monologues focusing on the path of transformation. After the service, attendees gather for a food and drink reception, often referred to as coffee and yummies, to socialize and get to know one another. Childcare is available for younger children, offering creative ways to engage with the day's topic. The chapel also provides free courses under the 'Wisdom from the Top of the World' banner and offers live streaming for those unable to attend in person.
