Established in 2008 by Grand Junction natives Jim and Berna, Berna B's Classic Cuisine began as a husband-and-wife dream to create a welcoming dining space that evolved into a local institution for both casual meals and large-scale catering. Chef William Wharton, who has led the kitchen for over 15 years, brings precision and artistry to every plate, ensuring consistent quality for every guest joining us for a quick breakfast or a sit-down dinner. Our restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere where young and old, church groups, and driving clubs alike feel at home. We serve traditional breakfast favorites like pancakes, waffles, and French toast from Tuesday through Sunday, with options ranging from classic short stacks to specialty creations like cinnamon roll pancakes and belgian blintzes. For dinner, we focus on hearty, classic entrees including roasted turkey with rosemary-orange butter, standing prime rib, orange-cranberry chicken, and beef medallions. Our catering division handles everything from intimate private parties to large corporate events, weddings, and memorials, providing on-location or off-location service with customizable menus. We believe in generous portions and genuine hospitality, taking pride in every detail from the fresh-baked rolls to the final dessert, such as our eggnog bread pudding or chocolate mousse.
