Granby’s first brick building, constructed in 1927 by W.H. "Willy" Wood, now houses Brickhouse 40, a bar and grill that reopened under new ownership in May 2018. The historic structure, which previously served as a general store, grocery shop, hardware outlet, and design center, sits along Highway 40 in downtown Granby. The menu features Chef-driven seasonal dishes and handcrafted cocktails, with a dedicated kids' option ensuring the space works for families. Happy Hour runs seven days a week from 3 pm to 6 pm, offering a consistent window for locals and visitors to gather. The restaurant provides lunch from 11 am to 5 pm and dinner from 4 pm or 5 pm until 9 pm, with the bar staying open later on weekends. Guests can reserve tables for standard dining or book the private dining room and catering services for larger events.
