Blaine and MJ operate Calder Farm, a regenerative agricultural enterprise near Gunnison, Colorado, supplying fresh produce and pork to the Gunnison Valley. The couple brings twelve years of experience growing food and crops across Patagonia, Chile, Ireland, Idaho, Nevada, and Colorado to their current operation. Their approach prioritizes sustainable, regenerative practices and holistic land management over standard organic certification, aiming to regenerate soil and maintain a healthy environment. The farm is a founding member of the Gunnison Valley Producers' Guild. Customers can find all cuts of pork and pasture-raised eggs available through their online store. MJ holds a Master’s in Environmental Management with a focus on local and regional food system resilience, while Blaine manages the labor-intensive aspects of the farm as a master pig wrangler.
