Carboy Winery at Mt. Garfield Estate

Our estate vineyard sits at 4,742 feet above sea level in Palisade, Colorado, producing a range of wines that include sparkling varieties and unique grapes like Cabernet Franc and Albariño. Visitors walk through our tasting room daily, sampling these wines while enjoying panoramic views of Mount Garfield and the Book Cliffs from our rooftop patio. We host Backyard Beats every Saturday afternoon, offering free live music in our backyard for guests to sip and soak up the sunshine. On Sundays, we welcome shoppers to browse over two dozen local vendors selling handmade jewelry, home goods, and natural body products. Our on-site food truck serves delicious bites during these weekend markets, where guests relax under shade sails to beat the summer heat. We also offer hands-on workshops including Cork Crafting with local maker Amy Griffiths, Bubbles & Brims hat-making sessions led by Sarah of Laredo Hat Bar, and our Carboy Crochet Collective on Sunday afternoons. For creative minds, we host spoken word open mic nights in collaboration with the Western Colorado Writers' Forum, starting sign-ups at 4:15 pm. Guests can also custom blend their own wine, receiving six bottles to take home after the session. Our family-friendly space accepts credit cards and provides ample parking and restrooms for all visitors.
