Cedar Campground

Eighty-nine campsites spread along the north shore of Rifle Gap Reservoir offer wide-open spaces for tents, motorhomes, and RVs within Rifle Gap State Park. The campground provides breathtaking views of the water and mountain vistas, with sites often standing among pinyon and juniper trees for added privacy. Amenities include flush toilets, coin-operated showers located centrally in the campground, picnic tables, and fire rings. A dump station and water hydrants are also available for guests. Reservations are required year-round and can be made online or by phone up to six months in advance. The maximum stay is 14 days within a rolling 28-day period, with check-in at 1 p.m. and check-out by noon. Leashed pets under six feet are welcome, provided they remain under control and do not attach to signs or trees. The facility is wheelchair accessible and offers free Wi-Fi.
