Church of the Eternal Hills

Established in 1905, Church of the Eternal Hills stands as a Presbyterian cornerstone in Tabernash. The congregation moved to its current building in 2002, following a merger of two earlier groups that had worshipped separately since the late 19th century. Sunday services begin at 9:30 AM and feature live streaming for those unable to attend in person. The church supports approximately 160 members through various ministries and a robust preschool program.

The preschool caters to toddlers aged 12 to 35 months and preschoolers from 2.5 to 5 years old, divided into Ladybugs, Caterpillars, and Butterflies groups. Curriculum emphasizes outdoor activities, sensory experiences, and specific educational frameworks like Handwriting Without Tears and Teaching Strategies Gold. Due to high demand in Grand County, the preschool maintains an extended waitlist.

A key feature of the campus is "The Center," a community space created in 2020 through Project 20/20. This area hosts meetings and events for youth, young families, and seniors, open to the broader Grand County community. The church remains affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and emphasizes theological diversity, welcoming members from all walks of life.
