The Cannon family has steered Circle K Ranch for four decades, evolving from a small camp in the early 1980s to a bustling destination hosting over 1,000 guests and riders each summer. Located on Highway 145 between Dolores and Telluride, our property offers affordable Western family vacations without the rigid minimum stays of resort lodging. We operate as a non-structured ranch, allowing you to plan your own individual, family, or group activities, whether that means relaxing on a riverside deck, fishing the Dolores River, or partnering with a horse for backcountry adventures. Our accommodations range from mountain and riverside cabins to motel rooms and camping areas, all complemented by home-cooked meals and flexible meal plans. In the fall, our outfitter division opens its doors to sportsmen and women for guided and non-guided elk and mule deer hunting packages under Colorado Outfitter License #331. Situated near the Bear Creek and Calico Trail Heads, historic Rico, and Mesa Verde National Park, we provide a meaningful connection to the San Juan Mountains and the Dolores River Valley’s rich cattle ranching heritage.
