Colorado’s largest fully estate winery stretches over 75 acres of vineyards along the Colorado River in Palisade, crafting wines at elevations between 4,800 and 5,000 feet. The estate leverages intense sunlight and rich volcanic soils from the nearby Grand Mesa to produce robust reds and whites, including a flagship Cabernet Sauvignon and a barrel-fermented Chardonnay with notes of apricot and caramel. Visitors can explore three distinct tasting rooms: the Overlook on East Orchard Mesa offers panoramic views of the river and surrounding gardens; the main Winery facility on River Road features a courtyard and production tours; and the Collections tasting room near downtown provides an indoor space with an extensive by-the-glass selection. The portfolio also features the fan-favorite 2023 Coral White Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé and a limited 160-case 2022 Old Vine Cabernet. High-altitude growing conditions contribute to thicker grape skins and stronger fruit flavors, resulting in wines that stand alongside the best in the industry.
