Over the Edge Sports opened its doors in Fruita on April 23, 1995, emerging from a period of economic rebuilding to become a cornerstone of the local mountain biking scene. What began as a crew transforming a nearly abandoned 90-year-old building into a shop has grown into an international hub for trail development and bike tourism. We helped pioneer the connection between riders and public land managers, a legacy celebrated annually by the inaugural Fruita Fat Tire Festival we hosted just one year after founding. Today, we operate as Desert's Edge Fruita, maintaining our reputation for expert service and curated inventory.
