Chuck owns Diorio's Pizza, a family-run hole-in-the-wall on North Avenue in Grand Junction that has served the Western Slope for over two decades. The kitchen prepares hand-tossed dough and Sicilian-style deep-dish pan pizzas daily, using a specialty blended sauce and high-quality mozzarella. Signature items include the 18-inch Sicilian slices, which easily feed a family of four with leftovers, and the Mancinelli Sub, a long-standing favorite featuring Italian sausage, ricotta, marinara, sweet peppers, and provolone. The menu also highlights spiral-crust Stromboli filled with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone served with marinara on the side. Sausage rolls combine Italian sausage, ricotta, sweet peppers, and provolone in a crust, while Calzones offer pizza turnover style with ricotta and customizable fillings. Deli-style sandwiches are made to order using freshly sliced Boar's Head Quality meats on fresh-baked rolls with homemade vinaigrette. Freshly baked bread and dough are made in-house, ensuring high-quality ingredients across the board. The restaurant accepts credit cards, offers wheelchair accessibility and parking, and operates Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Sundays closed.
