Founded in 2010 by Ed LeViness, Ed's Fly Shop began when a local machine shop asked Ed to sell the fly tying vises he used in his basement. That humble start has grown into Montrose’s full-service fly shop, offering expert advice for anglers of all levels. We carry a large inventory of gear from brands like Abel and Scott, alongside guided trips on the Gunnison, San Miguel, and Uncompahgre rivers. Our team helps customers find the right equipment, whether it’s lightweight Patagonia wading boots or Outcast float tube bags. We also provide detailed fishing reports for the Gunnison Gorge and Lower Gunnison.
