Home of the Tigers, Grand Junction High School stands as a cornerstone of District 51 education in Grand Junction, Colorado. Our Academies Program empowers students to become creative problem solvers who are culturally connected and ready for career and life. We bridge classroom learning with the real world through Work-Based Learning opportunities, ensuring our students are engaged, equipped, and empowered. Our curriculum includes Advanced Placement courses, concurrent enrollment options, and Career and Technical Education pathways that lead to industry certifications. Every student joins their chosen Academy and the broader GJHS community, cultivating a place of belonging that meets diverse strengths and needs. We support academic growth through the D51 Foundation, a nonprofit organization that has made a significant impact since 2010. Our recent achievements include the district's second-highest graduation rate in history for the 2021, 2022 ninth-grade cohort. Located at 1400 N. 5th St., we welcome families to explore the various pathways and opportunities available to develop skills and interests.
